This bulb is awesome! There is a little instruction paragraph on the side of the box, however it is
very vague. I actually had to take it to my local brick and mortar magic shop to find out how to
use it. The magician who runs the shop was a very nice man and he had a very in-genius idea on how
to make it work. Obviously it's a light up bulb, so it will need to touch metal in order to light.
Unlike other bulbs out there, you need to touch the metal bottom of the bulb to the golden metal
sides of the bulb in order for it to light up. This allows the bulb to be handed out for
examination and no one will find out the secret! Now, how to make it work, because the bulb was the
only thing that came in the box. Well, I was suggested to just finger palm a coin and guess what?
It worked perfectly! Also, the bulb isn't made to be turned on for a long period of time. It does
have a built in battery (non-replaceable), and it's best if you make the light "flicker" opposed to
keeping it on. Plus it looks much better and magical that way anyways.
Another point, the light
is actually quite bright. It obviously won't be as bright as a normal light bulb, but on stage, in
the streets (obviously not in direct sunlight), people will know that the bulb is on :) So was this
a great purchase? Well, for $7 bucks, you can't go wrong!
