Use it for anything but forces Report this review

Pretty much useless for forcing cards, unless you can do an undetectable deck switch -- and deck switches are much harder than any force you can do with regular cards! Instead, buy this because it gives you so many duplicates. Force one of these for any trick where the spec signs the card. Your regular deck is intact, and the spec keeps the signed card. Use it for torn-&-restored. Use it for Sankey's "Resistance is Futile". Use it for any trick that needs a duplicate card. Use it for a thousand effects. It's a bargan. And learn some real forces with a regular deck!

Hi Rob,
Most magicians/mentalists will use a one way force deck not for a trick, but for a force and nothing more. Many parlor and stage magicians use them, because once a card a selected, no cards are needed for the effect. Because of this, they are GREAT for forcing, because it is just as clean as a classic force (if not more, because they can actually use any card). Hope this helps! And, yes, I probably should've responded 11 years ago, sorry about that.

I actually do use it to force a card AND do number of deck switches in my routines. The Art of Switching Decks by Roberto Giobbi is a fantastic resource and you’d be surprised how much more easy than you think it is to do a deck switch, also Gregory Wilson’s Cold Case is clever a utility gimmick for deck switches, and another amazing resource. :)
