i loved this effect. i think it because i have this sort of fetish with effects involving old photos
or antique items. the mystery involved...i'm not so sure i would agree with the other reviewer for
this effect. i really dig it. like jim's products they arent ...how can i say, complete? in other
words the idea and story is fantastic but the tech aspects need help. for white star theres a part
where it says in the book ''you have to figure out how to mix the photos somehow''. what?! well
figure it out b4 you release the product. this is no different. jim and marc do go into detail on
how to get the spec to choose a certain photo but im not a fan of the process.
i create a
lot of my own effects so i came up with my own method but, do be prepared to work on how to
invisibly and cleanly be able to 'make them' pick something. dont get it twisted this effect is
quite easy but work on the story and the selection process. thats my advice. this gets a very real
stunned reaction. no hootin' and hollaring here. disbelief. thats it. i love it.
